General terms of service

Purpose

These terms govern training, support and consulting services offered by the independent operator of Avnorys Academy.

Proposal and order

The programme, objectives, audience, prerequisites, dates, format, location, price and included items are specified in the commercial proposal. The order becomes binding after written acceptance of that proposal.

Fees and payment

Prices, applicable taxes, payment dates and payment methods are stated in the quotation or invoice. No price shown on the website constitutes a binding offer until confirmed in writing.

Training delivery

Sessions may be delivered in person, through Zoom, through Microsoft Teams or in another format agreed with the client. Participants must have internet access, compatible equipment and, where required, the technical permissions needed for practical work.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Rescheduling, cancellation, participant replacement and any applicable charges are specified in the quotation. If the instructor is unable to deliver the session for a major reason, a new date or an equivalent solution will be proposed.

Exams, licences and publisher materials

Vendor exams, vouchers, licences, platforms and materials are included only when expressly stated in the commercial proposal. Availability depends on the rules of the relevant vendor.

Intellectual property

Avnorys materials are intended for participants’ personal use. They may not be reproduced, published, resold or distributed without written permission. Vendor-owned content remains subject to the vendor’s own rights and terms.

Offensive cybersecurity

Exercises are performed exclusively in authorised labs or systems. Participants agree not to use the techniques taught against a third-party system without the owner’s explicit permission.

Liability

The provider undertakes to use reasonable professional efforts. Passing an exam, obtaining a certification or achieving a particular professional result cannot be guaranteed.

Privacy

Confidential information exchanged as part of a service is used only for delivery of that service, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Contract documents

In the event of a conflict, the quotation, purchase order or signed contract takes precedence over general website information.
